8. Josh Garelles

Blurring the lines between various genres, Josh Garrels first started making music at the young age of thirteen using a simple tape recorder in his bedroom. Fast forward to 2013 and the Portland based musician has now released seven solo albums, with his latest album 'Love & War & The Sea In Between' gaining wide critical acclaim.
Often singing of his faith through the lens of artistic poetry, Josh frequently surrounds his lyrics with images of nature having always found a sense of freedom and familiarity with such scenes.

9. Page CVXI
After leading worship multiple times at their church, the members of the band ‘the autumn film’ felt called to bring hymns back in to modern churches and so created a second group dedicated to that mission. Taking their name from the page number of C.S. Lewis' The Magician's Nephew where Aslan sings the world into existence, the band have produced over five albums of hymns.

10. Come Wind
The progressive rock/indie outfit Come Wind have built a loyal fanbase across the US since their first release in 2010, partly due to their numerous regional tours. Currently unsigned but under the management of Red Lotus, the band have now released a second EP titled Grow My Roots. With melodic riffs and heavy drum beats, Come Wind take a more heavy approach to indie music that suits the singers distinct voice perfectly. It astonishes me that this group is still unsigned due to the sheer talent these guys have but either way I'm certain they have some exciting releases ahead.

11. The Rend Collective
I've lost count of the number of times I've heard Rend Collective be referred to as "the Christian version of Mumford & Sons", and though I understand the comparison I don't think it's fair to leave it as simple as that statement. Rend Collective have been around since 2007 and so have very much produced their own sound by which they have become known. Plus, now on their third album release and currently on an extended international tour, their success speaks for itself. Hailing from Northern Ireland, this group takes modern folk/rock to church, resulting in some of the catchiest 'Jesus music' your iPod's ever heard.
